We have been very fortunate to hold our events at the homes of some of the most prestigious tech companies in the Thames Valley.  Each session begins with a panel discussion and develops into an open forum for questions and discussion, with networking, drinks and nibbles before and after.

Not only does the changing location create variety, it means our host companies can bring their voices to our panel discussions and offer their people a fun opportunity to network – straight from the office!

Writer Udai Yadla said "Failure is the greatest teacher" and Jennifer Lim wrote that “mistakes are proof that you are trying” so why does “failure” still have negative connotations? The simple truth is – no great success was ever achieved without failure. It may be one epic failure or a series of failures – such as Edison's 10,000 attempts to create a light bulb or Dyson’s 5,126 attempts to invent a bagless vacuum cleaner. JK Rowling was turned down by 12 publishers before finding success with the Harry Potter Books. So, whether we like it or not, failure is a necessary stepping stone to achieving our dreams! Come and Join STEMConnext for an evening of sharing and learning from our failures!Watch event video footage here
